ORIGNIAL OVEN-BAKED PREMIUM DOG KIBBLE

Description

This formula opened the doors for FRR and made it possible to offer additional formulas to dog lovers nationwide. Flint River Ranch’s Original Oven-baked Puppy and Adult Dog food is the flagship product. Most CfG fosters are enjoying this food prior to going home. A twice oven baked kibble providing a highly palatable and digestible, tasty and nutritious diet for dogs. Our protein source is high-quality Chicken Meal and Lamb Meal, neither of which contains by-products. The grains used in this formula include Wheat and Rice, but no corn, which is difficult for dogs to digest. This all-natural food stands on its own – no additives or coatings – it tastes great all by itself!

Facts About

Minimum 23% protein and 12% fat; No Ethoxyquin, BHA or BHT; Twice Oven-Baked turns hard to digest starches into easy to digest dexitrins.

Ingredients

Chicken Meal, Whole Wheat Flour, Ground Rice, Lamb Meal, Poultry Fat (Preserved with Tocopherols and Ascorbic Acid), Ground Whole Wheat, Flax Seed, Dried Whole Egg, Lecithin, Fish Meal, Brewers Dried Yeast, Wheat Germ Meal, Dried Kelp, Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Monosodium Phosphate, Choline Chloride, Ferrous Sulfate, DL-Alpha Tocopherol Acetate (Source of Vitamin E), Zinc Oxide, Sodium Selenite, Manganous Oxide, Riboflavin Supplement (Vitamin B2), Copper Sulphate, Amino Acid Chelates of Zinc, Iron, Manganese, Copper and Cobalt, Niacin, Ascorbic Acid (Source of Vitamin C), Vitamin B12 Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, D-Biotin Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Source of Vitamin B6), Calcium Iodate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Folic Acid, Vitamin D3 Supplement.

Feeding Guide

Because the Kibble is high density, you feed 20%-25% less than other foods. Each serving delivers maximum nutrition without fillers, so you will also notice a lower stool volume and less clean up.

It is best to introduce Super Premium foods by mixing with your dog's usual food and increasing the amount of Flint River Ranch over several days. It will take time for your dog to adjust to the rich, easy to digest, Super Premium quality. A sudden change in any food source may be a shock to your dog's digestive system. You may notice loose stool. If so, reduce the amount being fed until your dog adjusts.

Feed your dog twice a day. Food requirements vary depending on climate, breed of dog and exercise activity. Feed an amount that will maintain your dog's weight.

10-20 lbs, ½ to 1 Cup per day
20-40 lbs 1 to 2 Cups per day
40-60 lbs 2 to 2 ½ Cups per day
60-80 lbs 2 ½ to 3 ½ Cups per day
80-100 lbs 3 ½ to 4 ½ Cups per day
Over 100 4 ½ to 5 Cups per day

Flint River Ranch Nugget Dog Food

The Nugget bite-size dog food is designed for larger dogs, and is baked in the shape of nuggets to provide a uniform size and shape. Each nugget is nearly cube-shaped, about 1/2" square on one side and a little smaller on the other side. The nugget ingredients are exactly the same as the Kibble Puppy and Adult dog food.

All natural ingredients plus essential vitamins and minerals. No by-products. No artificial flavors, colors, or chemical preservatives. No ethoxyquin, BHA, or BHT. No corn.

Oven-baking changes hard-to-digest starches into easy-to-digest dextrins. The secret to Flint River Ranch's great nutrition is how many nutrients are present and how efficiently they are utilized when digested. The good value is baked-in, not sprayed on.

This item is shipped in bags of 20 pounds or less for customer convenience. If you order 40 pounds, for instance, you will receive a shipment of two 20-pound bags. So don't worry about lugging around a 40-pound bag of dog food!

The ingredients of this product are identical to the Original Adult Puppy Formula listed above.

Senior Kibble Adult Dog Food

SENIOR DOG FOOD: The senior formula, with 1/3 less protein and fat, is made from the same ingredients as our regular adult food and is oven-baked. However, because the ingredients mix to reduce fat and protein, it will generally appear lighter in color. It is best fed to very overweight or lethargic dogs. Protein is 16% minimum, fat is 8% minimum.

Use the lower fat and calories of this formulation for senior and less active dogs when deemed appropriate by your veterinarian. The Flint River Ranch formula is TWICE OVEN-BAKED under carefully controlled conditions and temperatures - resulting in better nutrition, palatability and digestibility for your pet. The ultimate in premium nutrition!

My 4 are just thriving on the fish n chips FRR. They love it and there is hardly any gas. Less poop in the yard to pick up and much happier hounds!

I recently got a small bag of Fish & Chips for Sammi to try it....

It ROCKS!

She loves it, only poops once a day and it's a very firm poop at that. Also, no paint peeling for a while now.

She's still mixed half&half with the Original formula, atm... can't wait to see what all Fish &Chips brings.

Well, been almost a month of fully on the fish & chips and Sammi loves it!

Even before this deep freeze, her poops FINALLY gotten firm without adding stuff.

only 2 things I seem to notice "strange" about this stuff is~
~it smells like fishfood flakes Shocked (you know LOL th estuff you sprinkle in the water for goldfish)
~ She gets hungrier, faster. But feeding her more at each meal (morning/night) caused the big D, so she gets 3 meals total a day (on the 4 days I work, one "meal" is the frozen Kong, on my days off it's dinner and the late night feeding is a midnight snack) Works out well for her, I guess, with me on the four day work week of 10,8,10,12 to get a small meal in the late afternoon, when I get home late at night, and in the am when Gabe gets up.

Without the 3rd meal in there, she was starting to get cranky and finding things to eat on her own... which made me cranky! This surfing also started, too, with my quitting smoking... she got quite moody along with me the first 2 weeks. We both are back to normal now.. almost Laughing

how weird is that...

i never noticed that it smelled like fish flakes. i do think the regular formula looks and smells like graham crackers. i also don't recall peanut being hungrier on the fish & chip variety....
